Bajo el Cielo del Albaicín

The Casa del Capitel Nazarí Hotel, hosted the first exhibition of sculpture by the artist Soledad Galiardo in Granada. Among its Tuscan, Roman and Arab columns, it could be seen fantasy paths where the movement and lightness were the essence of static bronze sculptures that swayed to and fro as a rocking chair or as they were moved by the easterly wind.

This old XVI century Patio has held sculptures of love, gypsies with combs, cats with bells and trapeze artists with no circus. It has been the ground under of this exhibition “Bajo el Cielo del Albaicin.”

Even today you can enjoy of one of these sculptures, donation of the artist soledad Galiardo.
